: Painting backside of Front Fenders

I did a search, but didn't find any info/opinions on this. Should I paint the backside (engine side) of my front fenders with primer then body color paint, or just paint them with DP90 and leave them in epoxy primer? The fenders are new repro's and have the original EDP coating on them. I'm thinking just leaving it painted with the DP90 would be fine. Any opinions?

Thanks in advance,
Tom

When I had the lower corners repaired on my original 70 Chevelle fenders, I had planned using POR-15 on the backside.

But before I got the back my body guy lightly sand blasted them and sprayed metal etch & chassis coat black.

Should last a long time consider how I will drive it.

Thanks DG, I figured it would look good in black. I could also spray it with DP90 or Eastwood's Corroless and then with chassis black, since I have all of these already.
