Will a 69 Chevelle bumper jack work for a 68? I am in need of a bumper jack to put in the trunk along with a spare to complete my partial-restoration. The jack will never be used and is needed to finish out the trunk. Does anybody know where I could find one? Ebay has the 69's and up but NO 68's. :mad:

As far as i have read there the same in as far as the el camino but have heard the same bumper went on the 69.Just difference in what 68 had the reverse lights there and 69 changed to running lights.I have a dated 68 hook,got it at a swap meet in a box just wanted the spring that goes across the jack that holds the hook on.Same hook will be on the 69 just dated 69.Its surface rusty.Can bearly make out the 68.Its yours if wanting don't know what shipping is from Humble 77338.

I got it.Need to learn how to ship stuff.Just know only difference in 68&9 is the lights.Still learning.Ya'll help my bu.. out everday.Could have asked the other day about the headlight bezels,would have said only difference is 69 is painted inside.Was thinking of getting some to see what mine look more blacked out.There not the same.Saved some bucks there.Mines just dated 68 chevelle on the hook
