I went to put on the rear window chrome(71 malibu) and found that many attaching pins were missing where some metal patch work had been done to fix some pihhole rust problems! how do I put the plastic clips back on now? Does anyone sell replacements? Thanks.

You can buy New clips at an autobody supply store or order them from any where like year one.

How do you attach them?

They make a special screw for this. It is the same diameter as the original pin. A lot cheaper than having to buy the spot welder for this. Check your body shop supply place. Hinshaws also carrys them.
