Can anyone help me determine if a set of dual sport mirrors from a 72 cutlass (drivers side GM part# 29853)will fit my 72 Chevelle. They look right but I'm buying online and can't determine if the angle on the posts is correct. I've been told the 70-72 chevelle mirrors are special. I appreciate any help..Randy in NJ

Hey Randy in New Jersey, if you can send me a couple pics of the mirrors I will tell you if they are correct. I will tell you now though if they are not from a 71/72 Chevelle they WILL NOT work. The angle will be way off...Bill in New Jersey... :D :D

I can check in a few days, I have both a 71-2 SS drivers side sport mirror as well as a 70-72 cutlass one. Later in the week I will do a comparison but I am sure they are different as the door skins are different.
