Yes, I'm still trying to get this thing to hook!!!! In my efforts to improve my reaction time I switched to 25" front tires. ( we run a pro tree ) Anyway the new tires and maybe some settlement in my Moroso trick springs ended up with the car being too low in the front. Looked like the old cars from high school with 6" shackles!! As it sits it has 5.5 inches of free travel upward from rest until the tires are pulled off the ground. I'm thinking on launch that I'm wasting energy getting the car to level and I assume weight transfer doesn't do much good until the car is at least level. With that thought I'm thinking about having some new front coils made which make the car sit level @ rest. The problem with that is it will only leave me about 2 1/2" of free travel upward. I've looked into lowering the rear of the car but w/ 29 x 10 slicks it sits about as low as I can go w/o having fender well clerance problems. What do you guys think. Will it work with limited front travel??

What is the shock nut trick??

Wouldn't 6 cylinder springs be even softer resulting in a lower front ride height? The front of my car weighs in @ about 1980#'s.
The shock nut trick is to remove the nut from the top of your shock and replace it w/ a locking nut backed off as much as possible. this allows the car to raise undampened that first 1" or so before the shocks are engaged.

Wow that's a 58/42 % weight distribution..You might want to check that, I am even at 54/46 with my long snout.

either way, I am carrying 2100 # on my front and using 6 cylinder springs. is it possible the Moroso springs had a coil removed? maybe a taller set? maybe the 6 cylinder springs are the way to go. Unfortunately, it could be either one.

As you probably know, you have a lot of improvement potential in the 60 ft territory and the front end sag is likely a big part of it.
