Are 68 and 69 chevelle parts interchangable. Does it matter if they are SS, Malibu, or El Camino? My reason for asking is that i like the look of the 69 El Camino grills and wonder if i could get one in my 68 chevelle malibu w/ out modifications. Any help would be great!

its just an idea.....even if i don't do it, it would be nice to have the knowledge of which parts are interchangeable smile.gif

onick... I think the fenders are the the same as far as the way the grill would fit. The grill brackets might be different. They might bolt to the radiator support in a different way than 68. Maybe you can just use 69 brackets and have no problems...

The 68 & 69 fenders do bolt up. But one has a side marker light. I forget whcih way it is.
