I just put in a dash from a 71 monte carlo, no tach no gauges, I got the harness from the donor car also but since I had the front of the car mostly wired with a 70 chevelle harness can I just hook it to the 71 monte carlo fuse block? I read on on e of my old posts that a 72 under dash harness won't work right with a 70 under hood harnsess, I hope I don't run problems with this JIm

The 71 dash harness will work fine with the 70 forward harnesses.

I think the only differences between the 70 and 71 harness is the fuse for TCS and the lighter has a different type connection for power and ground.

Okay what the heck is a TCS the car is running a HEI, I'm not hooking the lighter up Non smoker, Jim
