what does the orange wire in the engine harness that goes toward the blower motor connect to? high speed blower wire? wheres the low speed wires connect ? there are no relays of any kind left on the cowl. does the orange wire connect straight to the blower motor? i havent been able to get any voltage from the orange wire . under the dash my wires are connected to the resister on the heat plenium. how does the switch work the blower on the none AC? my drawings does not show much of anything about the blower, thanks

On the non-A/C car there is no relay under the hood. If you look at the blower switch connector you will see two oranges wires crimped together in the same terminal. Orange is the switch output. One of those orange wires goes to the bulkhead connector and out to the blower motor.
The brown wire is the switch input. It always has 12 volts to ground when the ignition key is turned to ON.
Orange always should have some voltage to ground except if the blower switch is OFF. In HIGH orange will have 12 volts to ground.

thanks john. i placed a jumper from the brown to the 2 orange at the fan switch connector. got voltage under hood. fooled with the switch it started to half way work. in seems like 2 speeds after i connected wires back to switch. this thing has been setting up for 15 years. and was butchered before it wasput away. thanks again
