My '67 console has the factory holes to mount the seat belt clips and I have a set of replacement chrome clips. The console has four holes - two for each clip. And each clip has one projecting stud to fit in one hole and another hole for a fastener.
What is the correct fastener to use to fasten the clips to the console? Rivet, screw, bolt, or ?
Thanks for your help!

the console seat belt clips are held on by a screw.
with a flat clip behind the console that retains tension to keep the screw in place.

Thanks droptop. I guess that means partially removing the console. Can you or someone else tell me what the screw head is like or provide a link to a picture of an installed seat belt clip?

I am going off of memory of a 67 console i sold about half a year ago.
It was all original and I took it apart to clean it up some.
the scew was a chrome or stainless screw like the ones used in your interior.
I don't think it had the tapered head. Sorry I can't help with a photo, I only keep 66 stuff around.
