When I follow a link to another site that has a lot of pictures, such as cars listed on E-bay, All I get for the pictures is a red X. I have to refresh several times to get all the pictures. I have DSL and it seems that it wants to load so fast that it doesn't have time to load the pictures. Any ideas?

do you xp firewall etc running that could be it. Maybe you need to clean your cookies and update your xml files etc. Does it do it on all sites? Might be your version of browser too.

It just seems to do it when I go to another site other than the main page I'm on. Such as following a link to another site with pictures. If I'm on the main page it does OK. But the secondary site just fails to load fully until I refresh a couple of times. I use IE with XP.

hmmm I wonder if there is a setting in IE that is causing this. Try a restore to default settings option in ie or try another browser like firefox.

Do a search for temp folders and clean them out. I have had this kind of trouble before on Win98 and it was something in the temp folders.

I have a window washer program that empties the cookies and also the temp files after every session. I also tried the Mozilla Firefox and found it to be twice as slow as what I was using. It did load the pics however. This just seems to be something that started a short time ago.

Netscape did that to me while I was on dial-up, but quit doing it when I changed to DSL. Seemed to be a time-out issue, so maybe there's a setting for this in your browser?
