Just finished doing my tranny and had the car at idle and noticed that i have a vacuum leak at the front butter fly shaft. the vacuum leak or pitch changes if i move the shaft. It's coming from where the shaft exits the carb. Is there a fix or is it normal. The carb is only about a year old. Thanks dom

You will have to rebuild the carb with new parts to keep the carb from leaking air. I prefer Carter AFB myself.
