I have a 72 Chevelle and i was wondering do i hae to paint the car first and then paint the SS stripes on adn then clear coat the whole car.

Yes thats the way the body shop i used did my car!

Some like to blow the stripe first. Up to you.

Yep thats the way i did it,car painted then the stripes followed by clear. Do get a quality stripe kit tho, the cheapos sold somplaces have the wrong size tape, atleast the first one i had did.
