i am in the process of putting my wire harness back in the velle after making some changes to it . there are 2 wires at the bottom of the harness that are a mystery to me. they are black w\white strip and just a black. they are at the bottom of the panel looking from the engine side of the car .i hooked power the them but can not trace them to anything in the car any help please luke.

The amp gauge wiring is bk and bk/wh. On 64 - 67 they are the bottom two wires of the forward lamp harness bulkhead connector.

thanks were they both connected to the horn relay ,because the black w\white strip was and the black was connected to what seamed like a fuse block at the front support next to the voltage regulater

64s use a shunt resistor at the horn relay, I believe that's what you are referring to. 65s and later use the main power feed wire in place of the shunt resistor. One wire connects to the J-block and the other to the horn relay.
