Been communicating with PUI Interiors and have learned they have reproduced the interior door and rear quarter trim panels for the 69 300 Deluxe two door sedan. Part numbers for Black are D250T for front and D250CT for rear. Other stock colors are also available.

A repro dealer recently had PUI show him the panels and they appeared to be correct (this dealer owns a 2 door post coupe). I have asked PUI for a photo or something so I can satisfy myself they appear correct. Nothing on their website yet about these.

If they have done the two door sedan panels, I would assume they have also done the 300 Deluxe two door hardtop panels. If the quality is good, this definitely calls for a "celebration" :beers:

Don, I'm sure hoping for 300 Dlx hardtop panels. Do you know what the difference is between those and sedan panels, other than the extra wing vent knob (which could be just a perforation on the backing)?

Man, talk about a major let down. Got the picture in from PUI. They made the two door sedan panels alright, but used the "Malibu" pattern. Not correct for any Chevelle produced, so why make them – DUH :clonk:  :(

I sent Ron at PUI a picture of mine to clarify. Sorry Von, his response was "Don't look for the 300 Deluxe panels any time soon"

I figured it was too good to be true. What's the structural difference between 300 Dlx sedan and 300 Dlx hardtop panels? Is it in the area of the vent window and "post"? Of course the 300 Dlx hardtop panels are the same as Malibus except for pattern and appearance.

Obviously the vent window Von, but probably something different near the back of the door at the top as well - don't know for sure.

On Don's web site I have a picture of our hardtop door panel. I think that perhaps some of the '69 Beaumonts had the same panel with Beaumont script.

From looking at pictures of sedan and hardtop door panels, I'm guessing that "unassembled" repro panels could be possibly used on either, fit wise.
