Where does the tire pressure decal go on a 69 SS? It is rectangular shaped. I have one that is faded in the glove box door but im just looking for a place to put this one.

Hello Bubba,

Not sure about the '69, but a '70 would go on the driver door above the VIN sticker. The assebly manual in the UPC 0 section at the front will tell you where all the stickers are to be placed. Maybe look at that section for your '69.

Hello Bubba68,

I'm pretty sure '69 and '70 got the same placement. If this is the case, then on the driver's door right under the door latch goes the turquoise VIN sticker with the clear cover sticker over that. The tire pressure sticker goes above the latch on the same door. Hope this helps.

Don't think 69's got the blue sticker. Might be wrong, though. Here's a photo taken last year at CB04 of an original 69 non-restored SS door jamb. This is one example of where they were placed.

Begining with 1970 model production, all GM vehicles at least received the Blue horizontal VIN certification label.
