My tailgate on my 68 El Camino just broke loose on the left side yesterday. It came loose at the hinge where it looks to have been a bushing. How do you remove these bushings and install the new ones ?? I did a search but only found out that some guys use Ford door hinge bushings because they can use two bushings instead of one bushing that comes in the regular repacement that you can get from Suppliers. Which is better to use?? Also it looks to me that these were the original bushings and never been replaced before. But im not sure how to remove them.
