I'm getting ready to install new floor pans in my 69 convertible.
I never did this job before but I have experience with fender and quarter work as well as industrial steel work.
My question is when metal, especially carbon steel sheet metal is welded, the moleular structure is changed somewhat and unless completely /properly treated will rust rather quickly.
There are some high tech adhesive products on the market now that have been used for body assembly and repair.
What are the general thoughts on using one of these products on a floor pan installation?
