Hello,
I have recently bought a 70 chevelle, and noticed the passenger door sags and hits the striker which doesn't allow it to close properly. I lifted up on the door to see if there was any play in the hinge to see if that was worn out, but it was solid. I tried to readjust the door and adjust it up some and it worked but then the door didn't align properly. I just was curious if I need to play around with it more to get it right or is there something else that might be causing it to sag? any help with this is greatly appreciated.
Nic
PS I did buy a door hinge and bushing kit just incase.

Is the door sagged when it is closed? You may have to adjust the striker.
I just put my doors on again and found it easier to remove the striker and adjust the door where I wanted it (adjusting the hinges). The strikers seemed pretty simple to put back in and adjust.
