Just went from a pullled the sweep ac dash from the 70 chevelle and put a 71 monte dash no ac in, on the harness from the monte there was 3 wires to the bask of the fan switch blue yellow and ? anyway on the ac dash there was a brown wire going to a connector in the back of the ac control, a long switch that activates when you move the lever from the off position, do I need to hook a hot wire to this or could you tell me where it goes to? appreciate any input, the car won't be running for awhile so I can't test it yet, thanks Jim

If the Monte harness is for the optional gauge cluster there will be a single brown wire that will connect to the A/C harness for power. If it is a light dash harness you can remove the brown wire from the blower switch connector, remove the single wire connector from the old dash harness then install it on the brown wire. A pictire (http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/tempacpwr.JPG) is worth....

On my El Camion I painted the fake wood insert and reinstalled it. I used SEM Landau black.
