I have searched the archives and can't find any definitive answer for the correct numbers for a deep groove water pump pulley and deep grove crank pulley for my 454. I have the long water pump and no air conditioning. Ebay has a couple listed now but they have different part numbers but both claim to be for 70 Ls6 Chevelles.
I checked the CRG database but it only covers up to 1969. The part numbers on the ebay pulleys are 3976060 AP and 3995647 AP. These are supposed to be water pump pulleys. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Are there any resource materials or books that might have some info...seems like I am always looking for part numbers for this car.

Jeff, the 3976060AP pulley would be the one the LS6 came with from the factory.The 3995647AP is a GM replacment pulley.The part manuals list it as the correct pulley for the LS6 and other high horse applications.
