Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone knows if the driver, and passenger bucket seats can interchange for a 70. I have 2 passenger buckets and 1 driver. The 2 passenger seats are in real nice shape, and the driver is rough.I am getting ready to recover and would use the 2 passenger seats, with the brackets off the driver,if they will interchange.Thank you in advance, Greg.

The lever to move the seat back is on the outside. So unless you want one lever on the inside, it wouldn't work. Unless you can change the lever and seat tracks from one seat to the other. That might work..

I asked that question last week and got no answer. This may help. The reproduction seat frame fits either side, no RT and LT. I examined my seats closely and didn't find any difference. Like 71SSBB said you'll have to swap the tracks.

Hello,my seats are from a 70 and have the release in the center, not on the side.I was just wanting to use the tracks from the drivers seat, and put that on my spare passenger seat. The reason I want to do this is because the foam and bottom and side springs would have to be replaced on the driver seat. Both of the passenger seats would just have to be recovered, foams and springs are in great shape. The seats look the same, but just wanted to check before I covered the passenger seats.N o problem with the tracks bolting up, and the seats seems to sit alright in the car. Thanks again guys.
