: Looking for aluminum slot rims

I was wondering if any company sells aluminum slots that look like the ones from the '70s. All the ones the ones I see have a raised ridge around the 'window'. The ones I had on my old Chevelle were Cragar's and I also had a set of E/T. Now I can't find a set from either company that look loke what I had.

Any help would be appreciated

Look at late 70s Corvettes, I have a set of rims that are as you describe with the slot look. I think these were off a 79 or 80 Vette coworker had and I got stuck with.

No, I know what you mean about the raised edges around the windows, like a Billet Specialties Legacy. ET does repop the old drag style slots, but it has that ridge. I've haven't seen the "smooth" style repopped. Yet.

Funny, I look at used wheels on Ebay periodicly and hardly ever see the smooth slots for sale. Where did they all go?

Joe,

Those ebay rims are the one I am looking for. Did people stop buying them, causing the wheel companies to stop making them? The closest I found was the American Racing Aspen, but they only come in 7" and 8" wide and have an indent around the window.

If you can't find a new version that suits, you can give these guys a call
http://www.akhwheels.com

If they don't have it, nobody will.

I've got a mixed set (2) 14x7 5 on 4.75 bolt pattern 3in BS and (2)15x10 5 ON 4.75 WITH A 4.0 bs. Wanna buy 'em
Skinnys are American racing and use a centercap retained by 5 screws.
Big ones are U.S Indy and also use a screwed on Centercap.
I can send you pics in a week
