ok here it is guys

i had a 72 chevelle sold it to a good friend of mine

350 trans
355 posi
750 elderbrook
basic moter upgrades
header, cam, manifold

hes the deal

he calls me yesterday said it was running rough at a stop light but when he gets going its runs smooth

he stoped to get gas, it wouldnt start but it would turn
he seen it had a gas leak!

had it towed, i fixed the rubber hose that was bad,

so any way this morning he goes to gas it up
told me
1 the tabnk would take gas???
2 it wouldnt start

i went ahead and explain to him how to get it to start

the car has a kill switch
i told him to turn the key with the switch off then on and pump the pedal
it starts but then ran rough i could hear it on the phone

i am thinking that seeing it starts fine and runs fine when it get going the pump and carb are fine

i think it may be the sending unit in the tank???

what would you guys say??

oh and the tank is as old as the car
