I own a 72SS and I was wondering if the amber turn lens is correct or do I need the clear lens with an amber bulb. Which cars came with what ??

Both are correct, from what I have read on this board is that the clear lenses were used in very limited supply and by only certain assembly plants. My 72 chevelle SS is a baltimore built car and it has the amber lenses. When you are refering to to using a clear lens and an amber bulb I think that is only true for a 70 chevelle SS.

I too believe both lenses are correct. Trying not to confuse you, I have a 72 Malibu Convertible with a White exterior, I have clear lenses with amber bulbs. I feel the clear, look better then the amber lenses. It's whatever looks good on your vehicle, it's your choice. Good luck..qqnick smile.gif
