I give up!!! How the heck do you seal a water port on the intake:angry:!!! This will be my THIRD try at it. It is the front drivers port and this time (second) it just barely drips down into the intake valley. The first time I used blue RTV around the ports and the second time I used Permatex #2. Both the head and intake surfaces were cleaned good and wiped down with lacquer thinner before putting Permatex tack on both surfaces. I put a bead of #2 around all water ports (both sides) and then torqued the bolts down in the proper order and to spec. I then let the car sit for a day and a half before putting fluid back in and firing it up. I have since discovered I have a blown head gasket and was wondering if the pressure being forced back into the water jackets could cause this leak to reappear. I'm getting water in the oil and bubbles in the radiator so I'm going to replace the head gaskets and therefore have to replace the intake gasket again  . What is the trick?
