I oil canned the front of my hood (non-GM) this AM. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/frown.gif I leaned a bit too hard on it & put a dent in it. Just to the side of the center line and just above where the hood latch bolts on.
Its a small 3" diameter dent, maybe 1/4" deep, no crease that I can see. If I remove the latch I can probably get under it. Is there any hope to push it back out & not do more damage?

Is there any truth to the ole Dry Ice method to remove dents? Or should I just visit the paint & body man? Thanx

Find your local "Dent Doctor". Ask at a car dealership or 2 who there is in the area. They will have a bunch of tools and know how to pop it back out right. Basically, if there's no paint damage or creases, it probably can be fixed. Doing it is an art form in itself.
