: Milky oil update....

Last night I rented a radiator pressure tester and pumped it up to 15 lbs. It held and only dropped about 1 lb in 5 minutes :) . I could see an occasional drip on the front drivers intake right around the water port or temp sensor. Tonight I'm going to get me one of those dental mirrors and try and see where it's really dripping from. Other than that it held good. I could see green antifreeze laying in the intake area and will not start the car again until it's fixed . I think I'm going to have to pull the heads and replace the gaskets  . But I still have a few questions:

Could that drip become a stream once the water heats up?
How can coolant get into the crankcase via a blown head gasket?
Wouldn't it run down in the cylinders and out the exhaust?

Thanks for all your help! :hurray:

Coolant has a mind of its own-it can travel where you thought it was impossible. There are products on the market that can stop the leak(s). GM uses a large pill that is used in the new car radiator to keep very small leaks from occuring. Bars leak has similar products in it. Liquid sealers don't work as well. Try it-por it in-screw down the cap and take it for a ride. Re-test after the car is cool and could solve the problem. If the oil is milky-be sure to change the oil ASAP.

Just replace all the top end gaskets and the milky oil problem will go away...Don't run your engine like this for to long...it can be damaged by the water/antifreez getting to the crank and rusting it after all it is water and not oil. Go ahead and change the gaskets...no biggy Dude...it should be fine after you get the new oil and filter and the new gaskets installed.
