Ok guys and girls need some axles for a 12bolt rear end out of a 70 chevelle anybody have some good used ones? If not where do we go for the best discount. This is pretty much a street car,so I don't really need the hot rod stuff
Thanks Don

There is no such thing as good used axle shafts for a bearing-on-axle-shaft application. They were ALL used up a long time ago.
The aftermarket has new axle shafts reasonably priced. Save yourself the headaches and just buy new ones.
If you aren't going to drive it hard, you could use axle-saver bearings. Be very carefull, the axle shaft will have to have the rust removed as the seal (and the bearing) rides farther outboard than the original. They work--if you're very careful to install them correctly, and if you don't drive the car hard.
