Just wondering what kind of oil and oil weight people run in their racecars?

Wasn running Valvoline Race 20W-50, switched to Kendall GT-1 20W-50.
nothing was wrong with the valvoline, machinist recommended running the Kendall instead, so we are in our second race trying it out.

After speaking with some local IHRA guys and the local machine/race shop I have found that they like to use LUCAS 20-50 race oil. It is reletively inexpensive and is great on new break-ins as well as older motors. You can combine it with LUCAS oil stabilizer for maximum performace and extreme conditions. It is now offered by SUMMIT... it's in the new catalog.
