I have a new Centerforce clutch behind a zz4. I did a burnout the other day and after the burnout I noticed when I let out on the clutch to get the car going, the car wants to shake some. Feels very werid. Is this due to my burnout? Is this clutch slipping?

First of all-if you had a new clutch-why would you smoke it. The flywheel has become warped and you will need to change all the smoked parts.$$$$$

There is a break in period on the new clutch. Says right in the instructions how long.

I know, I know it sounds dumb, but the clutch was broken it properly. After the car sat over night the car quit doing the shakes. It will do it a little if I start it off in second, but not first. The car has 4:10 gears in it. Could of this just when through a heat cycle? Don't believe I damaged anything to the point replacement(warped flywheel). Burnout only last about 3 seconds, before I let it go.

Did you have the flywheel resurfaced? It should be done with any clutch replacement.

Chris, EVERYTHING is brand new. Motor and tranny have about 1000 miles on it. Car did not do it today either. I beginning to really believe it was just a heat cycle with the clutch and pressure plate.
