Title says it all. Since it is quite difficult to use power tools (no electrical outlets or compressor set ups out by the cars) at a junkyard, what would be the best way to remove say quarter panels or floors from a junked car?
I've come across cars with better sheetmetal than mine but I had no idea how I could remove it.
Is the only real option ponying up some cash for a gasoline powered compressor or generator?

Most yards will tourch it out for you. If not, hand shears, battery powered tools, hack saws..........

Battery powered Sawz-All .

If you saw it out, make sure you cut out more than you need. You can drill out the spot welds when you get it home so you have a complete panel ready to weld in.

Best solution...just make sure you get at least 1 extra battery and have them both fully charged and extra blades, as a sawz-all will eat batteries fairly quickly, especially if the blade goes dull and you aren't making progress.
Wear ear protection...this is a loud high pitched process that will damage unprotected ears.

Cut the sections larger than needed, then you can get them home and carefully drill the spotwelds and seperate the panels that are needed. A torch is the fastest way to fly when you're in the yard, just watch the fumes when cutting through undercoating and seamsealers and have some water to put the fires out. Sawsalls will work in most of the areas but sometimes access is limited.
Take your time disecting the sheemetal after you get it home, I've seen a lot of ruined panels from lack of patience. Bob
