I am trying to remove my A/C-Heater box and replace it with a Heater box only option. Can this be done by simply locating a original or replacment piece with very little misc. work? Not sure where to look and Year One's cat. doesn't show either boxes. Any advice will help!!!
Thanks!

Once you get the A/C box removed, you will see that the hole in the firewall is much larger than a heater only setup. Its been discussed here before and a couple of people have made a panel out of sheetmetal to fill in the gap.

Rick,
Is it worth it? I was able to locate a Case assembly from National Parts Depot for $32.00. I'm not going to reinstall the A/C for sure.
Thanks!

Are you wanting to sell the AC stuff from your car? I am looking for AC equipment for my 72 Malibu.
Sorry, Don't really have a comment or solution to your problem though.
