When you read straight body in car ads does this mean if you sight down the side of the car from 10 feet away you won't see any waves in the doors or fenders or does it just mean the fenders and doors are on straight?
Thanks.

when you see any discription in an ad it usually means the person will just say anything to help the sale

Dean hit the nail on the head. It's as common a description as "80% restored" and "needs very little to be perfect" The list of these common phrases is endless. Here in southwestern Ohio they all interpret to " The Bondo and bailing wire might hold for a couple more weeks" http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

I'll tell you what I think, it means NOTHING. It is very subjective. If it says "very straight" you can assume there is at least a good chance that it will not be a bag of walnuts. But when you go to look at it, have an open mind and when you find that it is a piece of Sh%&, you won't be mad.
I say plan on having a nice lunch or dinner in the town you are checking the car out in. That way checking the car is just something you are going to do while you are there to eat a nice meal. That way, when you find out that the guy bald a$$ lied to you, you won't feel like it was a waisted trip.

You guys are all alright. I got a good laugh from Martinsr reply. That poor ba#$@#% that has a straight car doesn't have a chance in the world to sell it.

I see allot of "Straight" cars watching NASCAR. After they hit the wall, the side is real straight. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/wink.gif
