: '70 or 71-72 fenders for an El Camino tcrbjone1 Jul 29th, 01, 5:27 PM As previously stated, I need to restore my Elky front end. I have 4 rusted, dinged up '72 fenders, HL buckets, etc. I'm thinking that I would like to go with a '70 style front, but I can't seem to find good fenders or HL buckets in either year. Because 70-72 Camino/Sprint fenders are not the same as Chevelle ones. Also keep a lookout for 70-72 Stationwagons as they are the same as Caminos/Sprints. Brimaster Jul 31st, 01, 5:37 PM The other thing is the 70 front bumper is different than the 70 Chevelle one. It has the round turning lights in the bumper like a Monte Carlo. And as Alan stated the 70 core support is different as it has holes for the 4 headlights instead of 2. | ||
