: '70 or 71-72 fenders for an El Camino

As previously stated, I need to restore my Elky front end. I have 4 rusted, dinged up '72 fenders, HL buckets, etc. I'm thinking that I would like to go with a '70 style front, but I can't seem to find good fenders or HL buckets in either year. Are they that scarce???

From what I have found. Yes, Camino/Sprint fenders and HL buckets are hard to find. Because 70-72 Camino/Sprint fenders are not the same as Chevelle ones. Also keep a lookout for 70-72 Stationwagons as they are the same as Caminos/Sprints.

Good luck

yeah, they are scarce with no repos being built(not sure if you would want those anyway) took me 8 months to find some NOS ones.

It's not just the fenders either. You'll also need the appropriate core support.

The other thing is the 70 front bumper is different than the 70 Chevelle one. It has the round turning lights in the bumper like a Monte Carlo. And as Alan stated the 70 core support is different as it has holes for the 4 headlights instead of 2.
