Hey guys, I recently took out the last of my heater core ( its a weekend car and I live in southern California ) but now I have the problem of having the big holes in my firewall. I was wondering for the guys that have done that what did you do to patch up the holes? If you also have a picture of it I would greatly appreciate it!

I bought a piece of 20 gauge sheet metal. Then cut to shape and tac welded it in. Painted over it and it looks great. This is on a nova though. I will try to get pics if you want.

yes please.
did you cut a bigger hole? I have to fill in the main big hole then the 2 holes that the hoses went in to the core, and the little screw holes.
Thanks

I cut the metal to cover the big hole, two small holes, and screw holes. I am going to e-mail you the pics after I right this also, post back if you don't get them. Also Panel in pic is behind MSD and stuff.
ALSO: you could put the heater core housing back on, just bolt it back on, and make a small plate for the heater hose holes. That is what my friend did in his 72' chevelle (300hp on this board)
