Hi guys,
Where is the best place to buy top quality front fender patch panels. Mine are rusted out and a patch panel would replace the rusted area just fine.
Thanks everyone!! graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Most any Repo house has thes front fender patch panels... But on a 66/67 the rusr is usually at the bottom next to the door area.. from traped dirt and moisture fon the inner fender brace.
If the brace and the wheel well lip is intact.
IMO your better off making your own patch for that lowere area...
If that is the case... Cut out a patch panel t ofit the area.. making it bigger then the obvious rusted metal.. form the slight radius. and when it lays flat.. trace it outline on the fender and cut out INSIDE the traced line with your wizzer/cut off wheel.
Clean and fit the panel and grind the area for a good weld.. address any rust inside the inner brace you see...I have a few HEAVY surface magnets that I use to hold a patch panel in the opening. You then tack it in...being carful not to warp the surounding area 1/8 dots work for me...

thanks!!
I don't really want to make my own. My fenders are rusted out at the very bottom between the front wheel and the door. I know that Year One, OPGI etc. have them but they aren't good quality. Is there anybody with the GM patch panels, I don't want a low quality repo!!
Thanks ya'll
