Have a 3419 carb and orginal style baffle (it looks exactly like the one on the 66-67 SS CD and about 1/64' thick and stainless steel) ready to go on my 66-396-360HP. Is it true that there is noting used to seal between the baffle and carb? Would it be wise to use a gasket or some type of sealant here? If so how would you seal this area? Thanks, Jim
