Anyone know who sells the short one?? I've been looking around but can't find anyone who sells them.

You may try Karp's power brakes. http://www.resleeve.com/ While having my metering valve rebuilt a few months back, they told me they sell these rods.

Thanks
I emailed them yesterday, hopefully i'll hear from them today.
I wouldn't think that little rod would be so hard to find but it is.

Just got off the phone with them and they do have them complete with o-ring. It's 2 13/32nds long.

Glad to hear they could help. They also do great resleeving work. I'm curious, what price they are asking for those rods?

I think it was about 4.50. It cost more to ship it but they seem to be the only place who has them so i aint complaining.
I thought about using my old piston but i didn't want to take the chance of screwing up the rubber seal taking it off and putting it back on.
I wonder why GM would change in mid year to the shorter rod. I'm sure glad i read up on it in here, saved me a lot of hair pulling. I may have to become a member again.

Many Thanks

Got my short pushrod from Karps, it's actually 2 5/8 inches long. I ordered the new Delco master cylinder from the Parts Zone on friday (42.12) and let me tell ya the local dealers wanted 73 bucks for the same part.

Many thanks to elcamino72 for posting that site.
