: Need Advice on Tail Panel/Trunk Lip Repair

Still plugging away at the bodywork on the'67 SS. I need to replace some rusted away trunk opening "lip" at the top of the tail panel. This area retains the trunk opening weatherstrip. It's rusted away mostly in the area of the tail panel with some rust areas in the 2 places on each side where that lip radius's toward the front of the car. This is a particularly difficult place to rebuild. Does anyone have any suggestions of where I can get a piece to replace this or ideas of what I could use to "patch" it? I don't think the weatherstrip covers it, so I need to do something. Thanks.....Odie.

Call around and see if you can have someone cut you the part out of a parts car. Go from there. Maybe give Sundells a ring.
