I just installed a new quick ratio steering box, I got online from 1aauto.com (http://www.1aauto.com/1A/ChassisSuspension/Chevrolet/Chevelle/1ASTB00001/134737). My old box had a bad leak. Unfortunately I believe the new box has the Camaro internal stops, because when I turn the steering wheel fully to either side I get a load squealing nose which I'm guessing is the steering pump reacting to the internal stops. I've read a couple of post on removing the stops, but this seems to difficult a job for me to do myself. I'm not sure what to do. Should I send the steering box back and get an ARG box from Summit Racing (http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?Ntt=AGR%2D492117&N=0&part=AGR%2D492117&autoview=sku&Ntk=KeywordSearch)? Or, is there a way to adjust the steering system so that it stops before it reaches the internal limits on the box, thus eliminate the squealing? I could probably live with this since the Chevelle is just a weekend car.

Could be the belt squeeling, are you sure that's not what it is?
Also, unfortunatly too many companies sell quick ratio steering boxes for our cars which include the stops which is not right. It is very possible that is what happened to you if you feel the car does not turn a tight of radius as it used to.

Your power steering pump goes into pressure relief (and squawks) when the steering gear runs out of travel OR if your steering linkage/steer arms run out of travel. Either way, the hydraulic assist is trying to move something that doesn't want to move.
Your best indication of Camaro stops in your steering gear would be an increase in your full lock turning circle.
Your best proof would be to put a protractor on your pitman shaft and measure the true arc of travel lock to lock. Chevelle gears should have from 80 to 87 degrees of pitman shaft travel. Camaro gears have typically 64 to 70 degrees of travel.

Thanks for the advise. I'll check the belt and angles. Hopefully it's just the belt
