My newly acquired 70 SS has the original Cranberry Red paint, everywhere! I'm real happy about this all original baby, but....It does look like 31 year old paint. It's not real shiney and has lots of surface scratches. What's the best treatment for this?

Bring it over!!! I'll help!

I reaaally like Meguiars (3) step system. I think it would be able to help you out. First is a cleaner, then a polish, then a wax.

THANKS COPPERTOP! Just wondering if there was anything special needed for paint this old. My main goal is preservation. I like Meguiar's too, (got their whole system as a package deal at the Super Chevy Show in Topeka last summer).
