Well , Hello eveyone I'm fairly new to this board and I would like to post some pictures of my 1972 chevelle. I just picked up this car and i'm replacing almost every body panel . I have new Good mark fenders, front wheel wells, hood, door skins. ( this is all done already) Right now I'm conquring the hardest section. I have to replace the inner and outer wheel houses, full quaters, trunk extensions, trunk floro braces, gas trank braces, trunk floor , and the trunk gutter panel which the quaters attach to. Today I removed the left hand side , fabricated a patch over the shock tower, and a few other places the inner wheel house attaches to. I tacked the inner and outer wheelhouses together and tacked them to the body. More progress later this week or next weekend. Me ( 19) and my father are doing this project. We also have a 71 BB , turbo 400 , 12 bolt ac,ps,pb chevelle, and a 70 drag chevelle. Here are some pictures. http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-6/741430/MVC-013S.JPG

So far i have rebuilt the drivetrain
350 4 bolt main, turbo 350 trans w/ shiftkit and a b&m convertor, 12 bolt rear with aubrun posi unit and 3.90 gears. Aluminum rad, with dual electric fans. Much much more. I have everything new for this car, mouldings, interior, wheels, etc. My plans are making it a g-machine. I built the drivetrain mild but able to take abuse.
I will be lowering the car about 3 inches, tubular front control arms, adj. billet rear control arms, hellwig sway bars, edelbrock shocks, firm feel box, 17's. Exterior is going to be Purple metallic, white vinyl roof, painted bumpers, pearl white stripes which also will go down onto the bumpers. Ill keep you guys and gals up to date, Nick

Heres the 70. We did all the things that dont really cost money. We finsied all the body work and edged everything in. Just have to put the front clip back on and shoot it. this car is getting put aside for awhile until the 71 and 72 are completed. http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-6/741430/MVC-001S.JPG

heres my dads 71. Took it off the road for new paint job. Now its sporting new good mark fenders and front wheel wells. Harwood outlaw show finish 4inch cowl hood. This is an older picture but the car is put all back together now and is awaiting the paint booth. We edged in all the jams. What a pain to get the hood to fit right! The color is Sunburst orange from the new chevy cavaliers or pontiac sunfires. Of course black SS stripes and a new black roof. http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-6/741430/MVC-017S.JPG

The 71 isn't done. I had a bad fender from goodmark and I'm waiting for another one. The headlight bucket had about a 1/4 inch gap between it and the fender. Once the fender is on, then the car can be sprayed. Not much longer! The frame on my 72 is perfect. They usually rot by the steering box. I still need to find a set of the metal drip rails though. Heres a pic from today of the 71 . I'm going to try and get out and work on the 72's metal work later today ( pouring now).
