I have a new vacumn hose kit for my distributor and I am not sure of the mounting off of the distributor. It has the clip, a solid steel line and about 14" of hose.
I can't find a picture, and can't seem to find it in the assembly manual or on my SS CD. I am not sure where the retainer clip mounts, and how the solid line and hose mount. A picture or description would help me to install it correctly the first time.
Thanks

Thanks Mike,
The pictures are great. I see some details that I had not been able to make out on the picture CD. I made note of the small flat washer on the choke cover. It appears as if it has a special ridge(not completely flat). Is this a part that is available seperately?. I can't wait to see correctly assembled Chevelles when I get to CB. I have restored this car over the last sixteen months without having the benefit of seeing another 66 or 67 Chevelle live and close up. I sort of feel like I have been going to college via the internet. I expect that I have a few snafu's, I just hope they aren't glaring. See you guys soon.
Dave

You are very welcome Dave :) I know exactly what you mean about not being able to see what you may have gotten wrong, by not having anything to compare with... you could always get very daring, put on the Bullet Proof Vest and post some photos :p
As for my DETAIL Photo album... Glad you were able to see some other details.. there are soo many details... I put together my on-line album with hundreds of details during my resto and after... We are and have been always aware of the not so great quality of photos on the CD, and I have told many people.. it was always my intention to create a second CD with just photos, sort of like what I sent you... with 100's of detail photos.. but I just never seem to find the time to finish it :(
I am not sure if I will be at CB, but if I am, you can be sure I will come over and shake your hand and distribute your Diploma for finishing the 66/67 SS Resto Class :D
Post some close up pics. Know that 80% of all mistakes I see, are in the engine bay.
