I am trying to bleed my rear brakes but am having problems. I think the proportion valve is staying closed on the empty rear lines because i have pressure on the front lines that have pressure and fluid. While having the pedal compressed, I open the front line at the master cyl. to releive the pressure at the prop. valve to allow it to open up again, then I can bleed the rear brake lines for 3 times then the prop. valve closes again.
1. Should I get all of the fluid out of the front lines while trying to bleed the empty rear line?
Any suggestions?
thanks,
wes
