: 70 headlight bucket alignment

I am putting a 70 nose onto a 72 elcamino. All the parts were collected from differant cars and are all original parts that were not damaged in any way. After all the panels were aligned, and fitting very well, the only problem is the headlight to trim ring gap. The headlights seem to sit to low on the driver side. One actually contacts the trim ring. Passanger side looks good but can be slightly better. I looked at a neighbors car and his are out of alignment also. I don't mean where the beems point, but the bucket itself is not centered in the trim ring hole. My only thought was to bend the contact points where the bucket rests either in or out. I would rather not do this since the whole radiator support was just powder coated.

Any help would be appreciated
