Anyone have an estimate or what a good replating and straightening of a front bumper would cost. I also need to replate the rear bumper but it is straight.

Thanks,
Joe

Most guys love Tri-City Plating in Tenn. 1-800-251-7536. About $290 last I heard.

Thanks DN, do they like it for the quality or becuase of the price. I checked out a local plating company and they wanted about $300 for each. I would rather do local unless their quality is poor. Of course I will ask to see some work before I drop mine off. Just dont want the hassle of shipping unless there is a good savings or there are workmanship concerns here.

Howdey there neighbor, Turlock resident here graemlins/waving.gif

I am looking this summer for a re-chrome on my bumper and if the shop you are using is any good please let me know where they are.

Going to the Turlock spring swap meet on the 2nd of May?

Sweet another Central Valley dweller graemlins/thumbsup.gif Yeah I was planning on going to the swap. Gotta find me some parts :D

I was looking at Modesto Plating. One of my friends was complaining that they were overpriced. It doesn't seem like they are that out of line. I was hoping they would cut a deal if I brought in all my bed molding too. Who knows but I will definitely let you know if they are any good once I see their work.

If your interested we meet at Walmart at 6:30 am off Fulkerth Road in Turlock. We all caravan in together. I will have my 70, and plan to go in the for sale area to park. Afterwards we go to my place in town, and do the BBQ and talking thing. Let me know if your interested, post back, and I will email you directions.

Aww crap! you said early in the morning and it rang my work bell. I guess I wont be going to the swap on May 2nd. I have to work that weekend graemlins/angry.gif Dangit I was looking forward to actually make it to the swap for once. Unfortunately I work 6am - 6pm Fri, Sat, Sun every other weekend or I would be all over it. Now the excitment of getting to leave in 8 mins is all gone :(
