My boyfriend has a '72 Chevelle and I am looking to buy him new fenders for his birthday. Any suggestions as to what sites to use? I've looked at a lot.. This one was a little confusing though, as it was the only one with this option.

It has Fenders and Fender..with a $100.00 difference?

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

visit the link to Ground Up Restorations on the Team Chevelles home page. Or Classic Muscle 800-722-4828 in Winston Salem NC. $254.95 from them. I dont think they are Goodmark quality however.

www.goodmarkindustries.com (http://www.goodmarkindustries.com) Since they retooled a couple years ago, they are a perfect fit. Well worth the extra money. You may be able to find a dist. in your area on their site, and save the truck shipping.

You can pay top dollar for good ones or spend the time and/or money to make the cheaper ones fit.

Cool username, BTW.

I would go with the Goodmark brand of fenders. Ive installed 2 pairs both 70 chevelles, basically the same fender so my guess it comes off the same first intial die. Anyway am very happy with them. They fit great!!!

What I would do if I were you is go to that goodmark website and locate a dealer in YOUR state. Once you have found a goodmark dealer in YOUR state then call up that dealer. This would save on shipping charges and sometimes they are cheaper too. Also check with your local body shops. Body shops get their aftermarket from somewhere and many times those suppliers are goodmark dealers but NOT listed on the goodmark site.

We get parts from two suppliers and both are goodmark dealers but not listed on the website. Anyway those 70 chevelle fenders listed for around 280-300 bucks PLUS FREIGHT charges. But I bought them thro my supplier and they cost me 235 and NO FREIGHT for the same thing. SO it worth asking your local body shops if any of their part suppliers are goodmark dealers graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Good luck and glad to have you on the board. Got any pics?? Of the car of course...Eric
P.S if ya like purple 70 chevelles give me a call ;)

Reid </font>[/QUOTE]Hehe Sorry, I don't have a sister.

Thanks a lot guys.. There's a dealer in my state (NJ) for Goodmark that isn't far from me at all. I'm going to give them a call tomorrow and see what they can do for me. The shipping charges are ridiculous on the web, so I am going to try to do it this way.

Sorry, sevt_chevelle, I'm spoken for. ;) These fenders are a birthday gift for my guy. And thank you again for the help. He's going to be so surprised.
