I have a 68 malibu conv. The frame is in need of some fixing. There are several broken parts that are hindering me from hooking up the power top. I have to fold it down by hand or else it gets stuck and twisted. Does anybody know of a company that makes brand new or restored conv. top frames? Fixing this one would require welding and one part may be unfixable. It would be great to find a remanufactured top frame. Do the frames through 72 fit the 68? Thanks

Go to www.hemmings.com. Click on "search ads", then on "parts", then on "convertible parts". There are many companies that advertise there.
This is a link to that page, if it works. If not follow the above directions.

Good luck. :waving:

I am looking for a top frame also. I've done some searching but it looks like they are not reproduced for the chevelle yet. they are for the camaro so hopefully by the time I need one it will be reproduced, if not your only hope is a good used one. I was just outbid on on a top frame on ebay from a 68 cutlass. :(
