Bill, the color on your 71 looks awesome! graemlins/thumbsup.gif I've been looking for a color like that on a car for while. Got more pics? Mind sharing the paint info (brand, code, etc)?

Alex , Thanks for the graemlins/thumbsup.gif . The color is suppose to be 71 code 26 Mulssane blue. The paint company's paint codes don't go back to 71. They do the next best thing and computer match it to the next closest color they do have. In this case it is nassau blue met. from 1986. I still have the can of paint from when I painted it 3 years ago, but I can't see any more of the label . It could be Ford, Mopar, or G.M. It is Sherwin-Williams paint so if you ask them, I'm sure they can narrow it down. If not, let me know. It's base/clear with (glamour clear) their best clear. There is a new pic of the 71 in my signature. if you want to see more let me know...Bill

Yeah, that pic in your signature is the one I'm drooling over. That color, "nassau blue met" even sounds like the color I've been searching for. A bahama waters blue with a character to it that looks like clouds in the sky when the sun hits it just right. From the pic in your sig, it sure looks like it could have that character or at least the closest I've seen yet. If you don't mind, I would like to see some pics of it in the sun. It looks gorgeous, not just the paint, the body work beneath it too!

Much appreciate the color info!

I'll look for some pictures of it in the sun. I have hundreds of pics in this comp. I just have to find a good one of the 71. I have a lot of pics of my 68 Chevelle resto and my 69 Camaro. I'll find one. If not, I'll take a few pics of it in the sun light, i
