I have a 4 3/4" cowl hood on my 66. From Unlimited Fiberglass.

they sell a 2 1/4", 3 1/2" ,4 3/4", 6". They probably not show quality, but my car's more for racing. it uses the factory hinges and latch.

My Glasteck hood stinks. It doesn't fit right and neither did the Unlimited hood I have either.

My first Unlimited hood was ok, the second was suspicious, and the third was so bad that it was unusable.
All of them were the 3-1/4" cowl hoods, and all of them were dished on the top making the hood look wierd.
Just as the hoods have been, the customer relations over at the factory have also deteriorated over the years. I don't even bother going over there to look over their stuff anymore. You used to be able to look over the inventory to make and pick your choices, and now you can't even pick up at the factory at all.
Well, at least the last time I was there, a couple of years ago.

I would stay away from unlimited products....they have horrible products and even worse customer service. I received defective fenders from them, they refused to accept them when I returned them and one of their hoods so now I am out of $750. Should have checked them out before I bought from them, they have 130 complaits with the BBB. Just thought I would try to warn you.

I have a Glasstek 3" cowl hood on my 69 and it fits very well. The hood didn't need a ton of prepwork for painting, either. Just my .02.
Glasstek can build whatever size cowl hood you want, for an additional charge.
However, nothing against my Glasstek hood but I would trade it for a metal Goodmark. Goodmark wasn't selling their 68-69 hood when I bought my Glasstek. The lighter weight of the glass hood doesn't really matter to me.

FWIW,there's absolutely no comparison between the quality of Glasstek and Unlimited hoods. With few exceptions, you do get what you pay for.
